IMPORTANT – Agility Handlers Etiquette
1.
Last minute change of
handler can be done at the sign-in of each trial. After the sign in,
change of handlers IS NOT ALLOWED for the same trial.
2.
If you change the handler for training purposes, please
declare to the JUDGE and have your run
DISQUALIFIED FOR PLACING.
3.
For the
same dog, the change of the handler for different trials is permitted.
Handlers
may not carry FOOD, TOY, BALL IN THEIR HANDS OR POCKETS during the run
of their dogs for Elementary, Novice, JWW, Gamblers and Open classes.
Your runs will be disqualified by the judge or steward.
Agility Games General Rules
General Rules
Elimination- Dog- Any faults such as dropping a pole, missed contact,
missed obstacle, wrong sequence. Dogs running into restricted area will
be eliminated. Handler who goes into or out of the restricted area will
be eliminated.
Speed-
The fastest 3 dogs will get 1st, 2nd and 3rd
placing. Eliminated dogs will not get a placing. The exception is
Tortoise where the slowest dogs are placed 1st, 2nd
and 3rd.
Handlers are allowed to hold food, toy, ball in his hand or pockets
while playing the games. However handlers are not allowed to throw food
or touch/play fetch/play tugging with the dogs DURING the execution of
the Games.
Obedience Games General Rules
1. The Obedience Games has 5 classes. Each class must have minimum 2
entries before the class can be run. Any healthy dogs above 6 months may
enter. Bitches in season are not permitted.
2. A dog may be entered in all the classes or a few of the classes. The
Entry fees is RM10 per dog per class for members and RM20 per dog per
class for non-members.
3. Each class will have a winner and a runner-up. All the points are
totaled up for an OVERALL winner and runner-up.
4. Handlers may not hold food or toy in their pockets or in their hands
for all the classes,
except for the FASTEST RECALL class.
5. Handlers may not wear bag pouches on their waist,
except
for the FASTEST RECALL class.
6. Handlers may be changed for each class if desired. This means that a
dog may be handled by 5 different persons if so desired for the 5
classes.
7. A handler may handle more than one dog for the Games. |
